Math: Go Math Module 8 Lesson 5: Multiply with 9 pages 261-266

The students will represent multiplication facts by using a variety of approaches such as repeated addition, equal-sized groups, arrays, area models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting.

Two-Step problem worksheet. Will send to virtual student.


Reading:

STAAR passage and questions. Read the passage then answer the questions. Student must underline where they find each answer and put the number of the question by where they find it in the passage. Will send to virtual student.


Social Studies: Week 15 Test on studiesweekly.com: Communities and Recreation

Students will discuss ways in which people in communities meet their needs for recreation. Students will describe the effects of physical and human processes in shaping the landscape to make recreation areas, e.g., lakes, reservoirs, etc.


Science: Unit 6 : Lesson 1 What Are Some Landforms? pages 257-267 Read lesson and complete Brain check and sum it up at the end of the lesson. We have already covered landforms in Social Studies so this should just be a review.

Objectives:

  • Define and explain the term landform

  • Identify various landforms, including mountains, hills, valleys, and plains

  • Compare different landforms

  • Describe the main features of the core, mantle, and crust
