What is Weather?

Good morning class! This week you will use our class blog to answer a question or complete an activity during Science. The lesson for this week will be What is Weather? Each day you will follow the instructions and turn in your response as listed.

Monday: Use your science book to write the lesson vocabulary words and definitions. This can be found starting on page 357. Turn in your written response to Monday's tray.

Tuesday: Get with a partner and create a KWL chart about weather. We have done these before together as a class. Turn in your chart with both students' names to Tuesday's tray.

Wednesday: I have reviewed your KWL charts and returned them. Use your computers to do research on what you listed in the "Want to Know" section, then fill in what you learned. You will be working with the same partner you had yesterday. Once you have completed the chart, turn it into Wednesday's tray.

Thursday: By now you should have learned quite a bit about weather! In your journal tell me what your favorite season is and why. You need to write 4-5 complete sentences for this journal entry. Don't forget to put today's date for your entry. When you have finished writing your response raise your hand so I can check your writing for grammar and punctuation mistakes.

Friday: Time for some art! Today you will draw a picture that reflects the favorite season you wrote about yesterday. When you have finished your picture we will display them outside our classroom. Make sure to put today's date and your name on your drawing!
