Science: Unit 9 Space : Lesson 1 How Do Earth and the Moon Move?

Objectives:
  • Explain how Earth’s rotation is responsible for the day and night cycle.

  • Describe how Earth’s revolving around the sun is responsible for the seasons.

  • Describe the various phases of the moon including new moon, first-quarter moon, full moon, and third-quarter moon.

  • Explain how the moon causes the tides.
